OUR HISTORY

Cimento Nacional was founded in 2011 in Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, with the vision of delivering more than cement to society—we set out to build trust. Since then, our journey has been defined by steady growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to sustainable development.

Today, we are the fourth-largest cement producer in Brazil, operating five cement plants, one grinding facility, and four strategically located Distribution Centers that ensure efficiency and close service to our customers.

In 2024, we reached another important milestone by becoming part of Buzzi Group, an Italian multinational operating in 13 countries and a global leader in the cement industry. This partnership has strengthened our capacity for innovation, expanded our access to advanced technologies, and further enhanced our quality standards, reinforcing our leading position in the Brazilian market.

My journey at Cimento Nacional began about 12 years ago, when I was still an intern. At that time, I never imagined that this experience would last so long and become such an incredible journey. Since then, I have taken on different positions, faced several challenges, learned a great deal, and, most importantly, met amazing people whom I have had the privilege of working with throughout this journey. Growing professionally and being part of the successful story that is Cimento Nacional is a source of great pride!
